This was a very interesting historical romance. Prudence is a great romantic heroine who takes it upon herself to do things against convention and is a strong independent woman in a time where that wasn't allowed. The one word I would use to describe the duke is dashing. Even though he was going through a lot of trouble, he fought to protect Pru, even risking his own life in the process. My only issue with this romance is that it seemed too long and drawn out. This review is my unbiased opinion.
