Murder at a Cape Bookstore by Maddie Day - 5 stars!

Bicycle shop owner Mackenzie "Mac" Almeida has a few concerns about the Spring equinox event organized by the new Chamber of Commerce director, Wagner Lavoie. After all, March weather is unpredictable. Still, there's plenty to enjoy, until Wagner is found dead in the Book Nook, pinned beneath a toppled bookshelf. It's an irresistible case for Mac's book group. She and the rest of the Cozy Capers will have to use all their sleuthing skills to bring the killer's story to an end.
This was a very good cozy mystery that challenged me in figuring out whodunit. But I was surprised by the big reveal in the end. Mac is a very likable amateur sleuth, and I loved reading about her adventures. The plot was very entertaining with just enough red herrings to keep me guessing. I will definitely read another book from this series. Thanks to Netgalley and Kensington Publishing for this advanced reader's copy. This review is my unbiased opinion.
