Wedding Planner's Deal with the CEO by Nina Milne - 3 Stars!

Poppy Winchester’s wedding-planning business desperately needs rescuing. The only person she knows who can help is her former best friend, self-made billionaire Nathan Larrimore. So, Poppy makes a deal with him that benefits them both. But seeing Nathan again brings suppressed, and inconvenient, desire to the surface! Forced together on a whirlwind business trip to Copenhagen, they’re given a chance to overcome their past and perhaps make a fresh start neither saw coming!
This was a good little romance with great characters who had a lot of baggage from the different relationships with their families. It showcased how a families' drama can affect the relationships of children throughout their lives. I also felt the story was too long and lost its momentum towards the end. Overdue or Die by Allison Brook - 4 Stars!

Carrie Singleton is setting up an art show at the Clover Ridge Library.  Her fiancé Dylan accompanies her to the home of Victor Zalinka, an art collector, to select paintings for the show. While Carrie muses that Victor's home would be the perfect wedding venue, Dylan spots a forgery among the paintings in Victor's collection. Then Martha Mallory is found murdered in her art gallery. Carrie comes up with a long suspect list. During her investigation, Carrie realizes that Martha’s murder was part of something far bigger and more dangerous than she could have ever imagined. How far will Carrie go to find the killer and uncover the truth?
This is a great library cozy mystery with wonderful characters, red herrings and clues that will drive you nuts when you try to figure out the truth. I can never figure out whodunnit and I'm always surprised in the end. Thanks to NetGalley and Crooked Lane Books for this advanced reader's copy. This review is my unbiased opinion.

Harper and the Single Dad by Amy Andrews - 3 Stars!

Dr. Harper knows returning to Sydney as the Head of ER won’t be easy. But her intense job is nothing compared to seeing first love, Yarran, again. Widowed single dad Yarran isn’t the same man Harper left behind, yet it doesn’t stop old feelings from resurfacing. Should or shouldn't they rekindle the flame?
This was a good contemporary romance to read on the snowy day. It is a quick read with likable characters who have a chemistry that jumps off the page. Even though it's a medical romance, there wasn't too much medical jargon to interrupt the story. Thanks to Netgalley and Harlequin Romance for this advanced reader's copy. This review contains my unbiased opinion.

Murder at a Cape Bookstore by Maddie Day - 5 stars!

Bicycle shop owner Mackenzie "Mac" Almeida has a few concerns about the Spring equinox event organized by the new Chamber of Commerce director, Wagner Lavoie. After all, March weather is unpredictable. Still, there's plenty to enjoy, until Wagner is found dead in the Book Nook, pinned beneath a toppled bookshelf. It's an irresistible case for Mac's book group. She and the rest of the Cozy Capers will have to use all their sleuthing skills to bring the killer's story to an end.
This was a very good cozy mystery that challenged me in figuring out whodunit. But I was surprised by the big reveal in the end. Mac is a very likable amateur sleuth, and I loved reading about her adventures. The plot was very entertaining with just enough red herrings to keep me guessing. I will definitely read another book from this series. Thanks to Netgalley and Kensington Publishing for this advanced reader's copy. This review is my unbiased opinion.

The Rancher's Plus-One & Stranded with a Cowboy by Joanne Rock & Stacey Kennedy - 4 Stars!

The Rancher's Plus One by Joanne Rock
Rancher Levi Kingsley needs PR-crisis manager Kendra Davies to rescue his family business. But since their night of passion years ago, Kendra has avoided him. Swallowing his pride, Levi hires her, unaware that Kendra believes him guilty of betrayal. The more they work together, the more potent their chemistry becomes. Can she fight their attraction, or will a repeat of their fateful night be too good to resist?
Stranded with a Cowboy by Stacey Kennedy
Named Texas’s Sexiest Bachelor, rancher Beau Ward is hiding from reporters at his remote cabin. But Nora Keller has tracked him down. Her pretext is planning his brother’s wedding, but she really wants a fling. Can Beau show Nora that love is something to believe in, or will she remain a romance skeptic for good?

These two stories were included in a very sexy bind up. Honestly, I loved the second story better than the first. I felt the story was better written, and I felt the romantic connection between the two main characters. I would read another story from these authors again. This review is my unbiased opinion.
